Baptisms in St.Bertoline, Barthomley, Cheshire

George son of William and Hannah FORD, Barthomley, Farmer, baptised November 3rd 1815

John son of William and Hannah FORD, Barthomley, Farmer, baptised 23 May 1817

William son of William and Hannah FORD, Radway Green, Farmer, baptised September 19th 1819

All three children died of measles on the voyage to the Cape. The names George and John were re-used for children born at the Cape.

William's wife Hannah was the sister of Abraham ROBINSON and Margaret ROBINSON, the wife of Thomas MANLEY, of the same Party, although her baptism cannot be found in Wybunbury with her siblings. Her Death Notice (Cape Archives) suggests she was born in 1792.
