Appears of the Settler Returns as Charles BREEZE, in the Settler Handbook as Charles BREEZKE, and in the pre 1820 correspondence as Charles BREESE

 

Death Notice (Cape Archives) gives his name as Charles BREES and says he was born in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire ca 1785
