Temple Hall, Meigle, immediately opposite the church. It is a private house, said to stand on the site of a temple built by the Knights Templar. Charles and his twin brother William, children of David DALGAIRNS and Beatrix LAING, were baptised in Meigle Kirk, and although the church has altered drastically since a fire, this house would have been there.
