My Lord,
I shall feel considerably obliged to your Lordship in being informed what are the laws at present practised in the Cape of Good Hope, and if the Dutch Laws whether it be the intention of His Majesty's Government either immediately or at some early period to introduce the English Laws as practised in this Kingdom into the Colony.
