Honoured Sir,
I hope you will excuse the liberty I take in addressing you. I am a bricklayer plasterer and mason as well I have a wife and three children two of them might be of service to me an the Cape & as I understand it doth lay at the Collonial Department & I am enabled to pay my regular stipend I shall be much obliged to you to grant me a Regular Instructions how I shall pay my money or unto whome your Honor think proper your answer will be most thankfully rec'd by your very humble and most obed't serv't
