Petitioner John BRYAN being in distress and out of work this long time and having no family only one son which is married and has got a family and being inclined to go to[o] only his wife not being in a situation to go petitioner being well inclined to look for a living being informed that there is persons taking to Cape of Good Hope finds himself to go as he being on board a ship for eight years in the carpenters trade and can have the best of caracters from where he worked in London and true idleness having pawned all his [hoas?]and tools would wish to seek for refuge through some Benevolent friend.
