Richard Murcott, son of Richard and Mary SATCHWELL, was baptised in St.George's, Hanover Square on 30 January 1812 (born 16 August 1798)

Baptised on the same day to the same parents:

Henry born 30 November 1803

Charles born 14 October 1809

 

Richard SATCHWELL of St.James, Wesminster and Mary Ann FOXLOW, a Minor of this Parish, were married by Licence with the consent of Catherine FOXLOW, Widow, the natural and lawful mother of the said minor, this 18th day of January 1790in St.George's, Hanover Square.

Witnesses: Catherine FOXLOW and Caleb GREVILLE

Richard Murcot, son of Richard Murcot SATCHWELL and Mary, baptised Long Critchell, Dorset on 16 September 1798.

 

Richard was almost certainly related by marriage to Philip GAUGAIN

George SATCHWELL, bachelor, married Mary Ann GAUGAIN, spinster, by Licence on the 16 January 1813 in St.George's, Hanover Square.

Both signed their names.

Witnesses: P.A. GAUGAIN and C. SATCHWELL

 

The London Metropolitan Archives copy of this marriage has the groom as Joseph SATCHWELL. Mary Ann may was probably Philip GAUGAIN's cousin, and Joseph/George was probably related to Richard Murcott SATCHWELL, 1820 settler.
