Death Notice (Cape Archives) says he was born 1 January 1786 in London, the son of Robert and Margaret Anne RUBIDGE

Baptism of Robert Henry took place in St.Michael's, Wood Street, London (see family Bible in link given above) - baptism not found amongst LMA records online.

Robert Henry RUBIDGE, bachelor, married Hannah Payne JONES of the parish of St.Olave in the Borough of Southwark, spinster, by Licence on 26 January 1811 in St.Mary Magdalene, Bermondsey.

Both signed their names.

Hannah Payne, daughter of Nathaniel Richard and Hannah JONES, feltmaker, was baptised 8 December 1790 in St.Olave, Bermondsey (born 15 November)

 

Nathaniel Richard JONES, bachelor, married Hannah PAYNE, a minor, spinster, on 13 July 1789 by Licence in St.Olave, Bermondsey.

Both signed their names.
